From the moment you arrive at the farm gate, you’ll feel the stress of the outside world melt away. Here at Riversdale Station, it’s all about embracing the beauty, the adventure, and the serenity of this incredible landscape.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
For $280 per person for 1 night, extend your stay at The Last Resort for only $150 additional per night.
WHAT IS PROVIDED?
Accomodation and bedding, including duvets, sheets and pillows
Breakfast, including homemade muesli, local eggs, homemade bread and condiments, coffee, tea and milk, fresh fruit
WHAT TO BRING?
Day pack for lunch water, extra clothing, water, sunblock
Food for lunch and dinner - cooking facilities at The Old House
Good walking shoes
Space for Everyone
Riversdale Station has been a working farm since the mid-1800s, spanning over 10,000 acres of diverse terrain. In addition to walking, mountain biking, and horse trekking, our station is a well-known private hunting destination.
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests, please follow any restricted access signs and be mindful of areas currently prioritised for stock movements.
Important farm etiquette:
Keep a safe distance from livestock whenever possible
Close all gates after passing through them
Read and adhere to our Terms & Conditions before visiting
Taxi! Need a Lift?
Some adventures require a little help getting from A to B!
Private vehicles are NOT permitted on the station, but we’ve got you covered:
Can-Am side-by-side transport available for you and your gear
Want friends or family to join you in the evening? We can drop them at your accommodation and collect them the next day (must be arranged at the time of booking & subject to availability)
Cellphone Reception
Expect patchy mobile coverage—we recommend switching to Airplane Mode and embracing the moment.
For those determined to check their messages, you could try climbing the eighth fence post along the south fenceline while holding your tongue at 90 degrees… or you could just wait until you’re back in range.
Accommodation & Booking Details
Do We Need to Share?
Each accommodation option has different configurations.
The Last Resort & The Lodge: Unless four guests or more are booked (or an equivalent fee is paid for exclusivity), you may be sharing the space with other adventurers.
If you’d like exclusive use, please mention this in your initial enquiry.
Will My Car Be Safe?
Absolutely! We have designated car parking on-site, and with our trusty farm dogs keeping watch, you’ll find your vehicle exactly as you left it.
